Bought for the grandson as a xmas present. Bought on line as his local shop could not provide the range and choice. More than happy with this item.

Good game but unfortunately the spinners are of different design and the heavier one wins every single time. We counted 30 games where the top with the bearing won every time.

Works well as stated. Best to be used with rechargeable cells. You need a screwdriver to place the cells. You can customise the strikers if you have more of them. Seriously I should be sleeping now.

Set it up and began to battle with my 6 yo.
Initially surprised how the things REALLY bash into each other with some force. Picking the striker up while it's spinning is something best avoided (like getting an electric shock).
There is *some* control using the finger thing and, with a little bit of practice you can begin to avoid attacks and counter-attack.
It just hasn't been the hit I thought it would be. Maybe the strikers themselves don't have enough personality, maybe the control is too minimal. Not sure.
I do know it's another Xmas toy consigned to the 'not played with' pile.

These mega bloks magnext battle strikers was a present for my grandson. He loves it and always playing with it.

Bought this for my 11 year old, initially, quite interested with the toy, but not enough to keep the interest going. Probably would be better suited to younger children.

One of the strikers was faulty we were unable to remove the screws to insert the batteries. I was unable to return the whole thing as it was a present for a child who is autistic, he would not cope with the diappointment of having to do without the item as he had longed for this toy after watching the tv adverts.
Very disappointed and would not buy mail order again for this reason, although it was a manufacturers fault not the distributor. Please relay back to manufacturer.

      Bonjour,

Ce jouet est bien conçu et amusant, cela rappelle un peu les toupies anciennes ou c'était un vrai régale de jouer.
La version moderne est encore plus amusante.
Je vais bientôt en commander une deuxième.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Generation "Tops" Game
Reviewed in the United States on 24 January 2010
My son asked me to buy this for him after playing with one at school. The game is just like the old version of tops, where the last top spinning wins but it has an updated look to it. The tops are actually launched from the battery powered controllers on to the durable plastic "arena". I would recommend this toy for children 4 or older. But be aware to buy rechargeable batteries!

Das Spiel ist eigentlich Top, aber man muss zu zweit spielen, alleine macht es dem Kind keinen Spaß!

2.0 out of 5 stars Fun at first but no staying power

I would not buy this again. Kids had fun with this at first but the fun doesn't last and it is quickly forgotten. A big problem with the "competitive" idea in the game is that the top with the metal ball on the bottom is overpowering compared to the other tops. No one wants to use another top because of this. Very disappointing. I wouldn't purchase this again or recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Battle Strikers is okay
Reviewed in the United States on 30 December 2009
I bought this for my 12 year old. He thought it was pretty neat at first, but it is occasional entertainment. It is not a preferred toy for him. My only two criticisms of the Battle Strikers are 1) that the "arena" is not constructed out of sturdy material and if stepped on, it will not survive. I am constantly on the lookout to make sure it is not lying on the floor. 2) the cost of the "tops" that spin off of the hand devices is around $15 each (you get two with the game). So if you were to buy two more BS spinning tops, you might as well buy a whole 2nd game.
